Defending Turtles in Papua New Guinea

With your support, we have just expanded our international marine conservation efforts, launching a critical new collaboration with Conflict Islands Conservation Initiative (CICI) and Animal Assist to protect endangered turtles from poaching in the Conflict Islands in Papua New Guinea.

This atoll is known as one of Sylvia Earle’s Hope Spots and is an important nesting site for hawksbill and green sea turtles. 🐢
